Theme Installer

This html theme installer page allows you to install a theme you've previously downloaded.

Download the theme installer

Cross-platform version: generic version for any OS, but includes compromises which may result in sub-obtimal appearance.

GNU/Linux version: only for GNU/Linux; optimised for best appearance. May include more subskins.

The VectorLinux Edition is essentially the GNU/Linux version, but also features VL throbbers by default, and has Vector-specific information in the about page. The default throbber is available as a subskin. Although packaged for Vector, it should be suitable for any GNU/Linux distro.
Upgrading and Uninstalling

To upgrade a previous installation of a theme, close SeaMonkey, then navigate to your profile, and replace the old theme-name.jar with the updated theme-name.jar.

Or, you can go to Edit > Preferences > Appearance > Themes, and uninstall the theme from there. Close SeaMonkey, navigate to your profile chrome directory, and remove the old theme-name.jar.  Then, restart SeaMonkey, and install the new version.

If you wish to uninstall the theme, do so by going to Edit > Preferences > Appearance > Themes, select the theme, and uninstall.

If you are updating from Orb Colours Classic to Eurynome, you must install Eurynome! You cannot simply replace orbcoloursclassic_sea.jar with eurynome.jar.

Problems installing?  Check that javascript is enabled and software installation allowed:  Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Software Installation. Also, check that incognu.com is allowed to install software.

(VectorLinux users: some of these instructions do not apply to VL SeaMonkey packages, in which the themes are pre-installed in the SeaMonkey app's chrome directory: /opt/seamonkey/lib/seamonkey-<version>/chrome)

To uninstall an iconpack, visit the IconPack Uninstaller/Restorer at iconpacks.mozdev and look for "Restore my SeaMonkey/Mozilla Suite icons".

Note that installing an icon pack requires root privileges, since the iconpack must overwrite SeaMonkey app directory/chrome/icons/default. You may prefer to download the iconpack, extract it with unzip iconpack-name.xpi, and manually replace the icons.
